Why choose us.
for Audits
Tailored Recommendations
We don't rely on generic principles. Our audits are fully personalized to your store. We study your own data, your own competitors, your own audience. Every business is different, every website is different. This personalization also helps avoid spending effort on areas that don't make a difference, and focus on what makes a bigger impact, based on your specific case.
Screenshots of specific areas of your website are included, so our recommendations are communicated accurately.
Expertise With More Than 100 Shopify Stores
We've worked with Shopify stores across multiple different industries. We've seen what works and what doesn't. We've performed numerous audits, and their implementations.
This not only means we're specialists on the Shopify platform, instead of generalists. It also means we've seen enormous amounts of real-world data, made recommendations based on them, and learned a lot in the process.
Actual Shopify-Specific Solutions
Instead of just pointing out issues and opportunities, our experience in design and development lets us provide the solutions too. We're able to give you a plan on how you'll solve the issue exactly, or what exact steps to take to improve on the recommendation.
Why? Because we have worked for thousands of hours on custom Shopify solutions and Shopify's native features. Of course, we're there if you need us for the actual implementation too.
Variety of Aspects Audited
We can audit numerous aspects of your store. Accessibility, on-page and technical SEO, page load and interaction speed, user experience, customer experience, post-purchase experience, conversion rate and average order value optimization, etc.
This means you get a bulk of recommendation that can improve metrics across the entire customer journey and marketing funnel.

Tools and methods.
Data driven methodology
For our small-scale audits, we'll use industry data and some insights from your own existing first-party data. If the site doesn't a lot of traffic, there's a lot of existing research that we can apply.
For larger scale audits, when data isn't conclusive, we use hypothesis building and instruct on split testing. After testing is performed, you'll have strong evidence on whether to apply one version, or the other.
Proprietary audit checklist
Our audit process follows our own proven frameworks for UX and conversion optimization, tailored specifically to Shopify. They cover everything from user flows and page layouts to performance and SEO improvements.
These frameworks are based on 1) enterprise-level principles, 2) insights of our years of experience improving Shopify stores.
Analytics tools
Shopify Reports, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and other tools are used in the audit process.
These tools don't only have to do with user behavior on the site. They also analyze asset loading on the site, accessibility issues, and other technical details.
Exact results of these tools may be included in the audit, to provide data in our recommendations.
Frequently Asked Questions.
What does an audit include?
Our audits cover:
- Conversion rate optimization opportunities
- Average order value opportunities
- On-page and technical SEO improvements
- User experience
- Customer experience
- Errors and design / functional issues
- Accessibility
- Site speed and performance optimization
Do you need access to my Shopify store?
It's only needed for an in-depth audit. The more data we have, the better.
However, we've performed audits with no access to the store or Google Analytics, that were successful and made an impact to the store's performance.
Will the audit improve my sales?
In plain terms: Fixing the issues pointed in the audit will allow more customers to buy products from your store. The audit also has recommendations based on common principles that increase sales in all stores.
Also, hypotheses described in the audit will be the core of your future split testing process. Split testing is the main method of optimization for most stores with a significant number of conversions. This means that sales will keep improving on the long term.
How soon will I receive the audit?
Small scale audits are delivered within three business days after payment. This fast turnaround helps you implement changes quickly.
Larger scale audits may take weeks to complete. This happens because we need time to gather data, unless of course you already possess it.
