Shopify Conversion Rate Optimization
Improving your store’s conversion rate means turning more visitors into paying customers. More customers, more revenue for the same cost of traffic.
We specialize in analyzing user behavior, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing changes that drive measurable improvements.

Why choose us.
for Shopify Conversion Rate Optimization
Backed with Data
We don't operate on opinion or generic checklists. Every improvement is backed by data from your store. Some sources: Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, heatmaps, user recordings, user surveys.
Even stronger evidence? A/B tests that can prove whether a hypothesis increased your store's conversion rate.
Constant Improvement
CRO is an ongoing process. Unless a store has a very low conversion rate, we don't want to take risks. That's why we run a series of A/B test over a span of a few months. Steadily, the site converts more and more traffic.
This compounds over a long period of time. And achieves a huge lift, meaning a permanently high-performing website.
Deep Knowledge and Planning
We spend hours to deeply understand the site. User flows, structure of information, technical behavior on all types of devices. No two stores are the same, so we develop CRO strategies specific to your business.
Our experience with Shopify specifically lets us take advantage of the platform's awesome features for a high-performing site.
Expertise Across Industries
We've worked with over 100 Shopify stores across all industries. Fashion and apparel, electronics, beauty and personal care, home and living, food, books, automotive parts, sports and outdoor equipment, toys and baby products.
This gives us knowledge on every aspect required for conversion rate optimization, no matter what niche you're on.

Our process.
Research and analysis
We analyze your store’s data using tools like Google Analytics. We also set up new methods to acquire data and find areas where customers drop off.
Hypothesis and planning
We develop actionable ideas, such as improving product pages or checkout flows. Each plan is tailored to address specific bottlenecks.
Implementation and testing
Changes are implemented and validated through A/B testing. This ensures only proven improvements are rolled out to your store.
Monitoring and iteration
We monitor the results and make adjustments based on data. CRO is an ongoing process that evolves with your business needs.
Tools and methods.
Advanced A/B testing apps
Not all aspects of a Shopify store can be tested with URL or visual split testing. For example, product price testing needs to be integrated with the Shopify backend.
That's why we use existing split testing apps, or our own custom solutions. These apps, combined with some frontend code, lets us test virtually everything.
User behavior analysis
For the main bulk of data, we use Google Analytics 4 and sometimes Shopify Reports. We build custom reports to further investigate specific bottlenecks we think can be improved.
For advanced analysis, we use tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to track customer behavior through heatmaps, session recordings, and click patterns.
For advanced CRO we also work with survey apps (e.g. KNO Post Purchase Surveys), and user testing platforms.
A/B testing and experimentation
A/B testing is central to our CRO approach. We use platforms like VWO to test variations of product pages, calls to action, and checkout flows.
Tests are either set up with alternate Shopify theme templates, or direct editing of HTML.
These platforms guide us in getting evidence on which tested version performs the best and will increase your store's revenue.
Frequently Asked Questions.
What is CRO, and why does it matter?
CRO, or Conversion Rate Optimization, is the process of improving your store’s design, functionality, and user experience to convert more visitors into customers.
Simple example:
- Before Optimization: 1,000 visitors come to your store, and 25 purchase a $100 product. Conversion rate = (25 ÷ 1,000) × 100 = 2.5% Revenue = 25 × $100 = $2,500
- Optimization: You add a clear product review section with positive customer testimonials, increasing trust.
- After Optimization: 1,000 visitors come to your store, and now 35 purchase the same $100 product. Conversion rate = (35 ÷ 1,000) × 100 = 3.5% Revenue = 35 × $100 = $3,500
How do you determine what changes are needed?
As described, we use a number of available sources to understand the website and user behavior on it.
After that, we have two methods:
- For stores that don't have a lot of conversions, or have a large number of issues, we create a list of recommendations based on data-driven industry research.
- For stores that have 1000 conversions / month or more, we can properly test improvements. We study all available data and create a number of hypotheses - changes that should increase the conversion rate.
Does CRO guarantee results?
CRO that's based on split testing can guarantee results. The lift in conversion rate is proven with statistical science. This is the method that the biggest organizations in the world use to improve their performance.
And for changes that were proven to not improve the conversion rate? These are not applied on the site, and we can keep the test results as knowledge.
Given enough time and split tests, the results are guaranteed.
How long does CRO take?
CRO is an iterative process, and results can vary depending on the scope of changes. Some optimizations, like fixing a broken call-to-action button, can have an immediate impact. Others, like testing entirely new layouts, may take several weeks to yield conclusive results.
When we apply drastic changes on stores with a very low conversion rate, we can see results in a matter of days.
For stores with a lot of monthly conversions and fewer improvement opportunities, we can run A/B testing over a period of time. It can take 1-3 weeks for the initial planning and implementation. Then each test takes about 2-4 weeks.
