Why choose us.

for Shopify Automations

Benefit 1 of Shopify Automations

Experience in Hundreds of Automations

We've build hundreds of automations for dozens of Shopify stores. Our experience lets us advise you on how to automate anything in Shopify in the most efficient way possible.

Having saved thousands of hours for Shopify stores, we can recognize bottlenecks, find opportunities, build scalable automations, and give you all the necessary tools to configure your workflows without the need to update any code.

Benefit 2 of Shopify Automations

Native-First Approach

We've learned that the most reliable way to build automations is by using Shopify's native features. This includes Shopify Flow, a free and powerful app provided by Shopify to all stores.

This way you get reduced costs and no dependencies to third parties, which are always more risky. And even when native features won't suffice, we can build simple but scalable custom apps that complement them, and you're still their owner.

Benefit 3 of Shopify Automations

Significant Time and Cost Savings

Our automations have saved countless hours for our clients by reducing manual effort. A process that takes 30 seconds for each order for a store with 1000 orders a day, is 8 hours a day. A well thought-out automation will reduce these 8 hours to 0.

This is time you've won back, and the automation runs without oversight, giving you time to focus on growing your store.

Benefit 4 of Shopify Automations

Performance and Scalability

We've worked in automating stores that manage over 100,000 products, and several thousands of orders per day. These numbers can cause significant stress on any application.

This way, we've gained a lot of experience on how to manage processing power, memory, and costs, to handle any kind of load. No matter how much your store scales, our automations can support it at all times.

Our process.

1.

Identifying repetitive tasks

We start by reviewing your store’s operations to identify manual tasks that are repetitive, time-consuming, or prone to errors. This step lays the foundation for creating impactful automations.

2.

Designing the automation flow

We design workflows that map out the steps needed to achieve the desired outcome. Whether it’s tagging orders, syncing data, or generating reports, every detail is planned for efficiency and reliability.

3.

Development and testing

Using Shopify Flow or custom app development, we create and test the automation. This ensures the workflows are error-free, scalable, and capable of handling real-world conditions.

4.

Deployment and fine-tuning

Once live, we monitor the automation and refine it based on performance and feedback, ensuring it continues to meet your store’s needs perfectly.

Tools and methods.

Real-time performance monitoring

It's always necessary to be able to monitor how an automation performs. How it's using processing, memory and storage resources. How many errors occur and why.

We use analytics tools to track how workflows perform, identify potential bottlenecks, and ensure accuracy. One example is Sentry.io.

Shopify Flow

Shopify Flow is an app built by Shopify to automate endless processes a store might need. Tagging high-value customers or organizing orders based on specific criteria are some examples.

Some automations in Flow are fairly simple, others take a lot of thought and development. It can support automations for any store, given that it's been running seamlessly for years, for the largest enterprise Shopify stores.

Webhooks, custom scripts and apps

Webhooks are usually the first step of any Shopify automation. The Shopify Webhooks API sends messages to any application that subscribes to it, on events including orders created, products updated, inventory changed, etc.

Using webhooks we can develop custom apps that have access to the Admin API.

Custom scripts can also run on manual request or intervals. This is for cases when we prefer not to use webhooks, or you may want to trigger an automation yourself.

These solutions go beyond the limits of Flow, tackling advanced requirements like syncing supplier data or handling multi-system integrations.

Frequently Asked Questions.

What types of tasks can be automated?

Nearly any repetitive task in your Shopify store can be automated. Examples include:

  • Tagging orders based on certain criteria, when a fulfillment app uses tags to determine how to fulfill the order.
  • Updating product descriptions based on attributes found in metafields.
  • Notifying staff via email when there's a certain event, e.g. a high-value order.

We'll let you know whether something can be automated, and how complicated it may be.

How do automations save money?

In simple words, you get rid of simple, repetitive, manual tasks and you're able to focus on more impactful ones.

A simple formula:

(value of 1 hour) x (hours a task takes) x (times a task is repeated daily).

For example, 50x0.01x500=250 a day, which is 7.5k a month.

How do automations make money?

Automations open up features that were not otherwise possible.

For example, email marketing can significantly increase the store's revenue. Automations can manage the customer's personal info, pass it to marketing tools, and help create personalized emails.

How long does it take to set up an automation?

The timeline depends on complexity. Simple workflows with Shopify Flow can be set up in a few days, while custom-built solutions may take several weeks.
