Tools and methods.

Shopify Flow and backend development

B2B and wholesale operations sometimes require a lot of automation.

We use Shopify Flow to build processes that are either necessary, or very helpful in saving a lot of time managing the store.

When Flow isn't sufficient, we deploy custom apps in platforms like Google Firebase or Fly.io. These are scalable and can handle any amount of traffic and orders.

Shopify Plus B2B features

It's true that Shopify Plus comes with a much higher monthly fee. However, it offers powerful B2B tools, such as customer-specific pricing, volume discounts, and tax-exempt checkout options.

These features are fully native and supported by themes and the Admin API.

The biggest advantages are 1) there's no need for the frontend of the site to be heavily customized, and 2) much more room for pricing option customization.

Third-party apps

For non-Plus stores or when native features aren’t enough, we integrate third-party tools to extend your store’s functionality.

This usually includes certain wholesale apps that provide features like custom pricing, a customer portal, bulk ordering screens, etc.

Integrating these apps is usually done by their support but it's a difficult process. So we closely monitor the theme's code while this happens.
